Homeward Trust Edmonton is a not-for-profit organization committed to ending homelessness in our city. Our work is driven by community need and priorities as outlined in A Place to Call Home: Edmonton’s Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness. It is our belief that everyone has the right to a home, and that our communities are stronger, safer, and more vibrant when homelessness is addressed instead of ignored. We are a fast-paced and values-driven organization made up of people who are dedicated to making the difference.
Homeward Trust is the system planner responsible for coordinating a community-based approach to address homelessness. We contract, implement, and coordinate programs delivered under a Housing First philosophy. In addition, we provide access to affordable and supportive housing. Our organization also leads local efforts to enhance awareness, evidence, and resources when it comes to homelessness.
