Homeward Trust Recognized in the Alberta Legislature

On February 16, Susan McGee, Executive Director of Homeward Trust, and Ed Lavallee, Elder at the Bissell Centre, and 2010 ROOPH Award winner in the category of 'Outstanding Service for the Aboriginal Community', were introduced in the Legislature. They attended as guests of Doug Elniski, MLA for Edmonton - Calder, who also brought greetings on behalf of the Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs at the ROOPH Award luncheons on February 2nd.
Mr. Elniski then made a Members' Statement noting the ROOPH Award winners, the good work they have done in the community, and the good work being done by Homeward Trust.
