The Home Depot Canada Foundation offers an Affordable Housing Grant Program, open to Canadian Registered charities and municipal groups completing affordable housing projects that incorporate sustainable (energy efficient) building materials and/or practices. Eligible projects must get underway before December 31, 2010 and the maximum grant issued through this program is $25,000. The deadline for our current cycle is August 20, 2010. (Please note that Habitat affiliates are not eligible for this program – we offer a separate grant program specific to our Habitat partnership).
